Rental options

Portable toilets and restrooms we rent

Pick the situation that matches yours. Each option has its own page with dimensions, tank size and limitations, and the rentals overview compares them side by side.

Standard portable toilet

The unit most Brownsville customers rent. It has a non-flushing toilet over a 60-gallon tank, a urinal, toilet paper and a vent pipe, and it suits backyard parties, short events, ranches and work crews.

Construction & high-rise toilets

Job-site units stay on site in 28-day cycles and are cleaned every week. We size the order to OSHA’s Table D-1 and to your crew’s hours. For multi-story buildings, the Highrise unit rolls through standard doorways and can be lifted between floors.

Event, wedding & quinceañera restrooms

For weddings, quinceañeras and dressy parties, most customers choose the deluxe unit: it flushes, has a sink with soap and towels, and carries its own water, so you don’t run a hose. Larger guest lists move up to a restroom trailer.

ADA-compliant & wheelchair-accessible

We rent two kinds. ADA-compliant units have room to turn a wheelchair inside, grab bars and a step-free entry, and are the ones to use when a venue or permit says “ADA.” A smaller wheelchair-accessible unit fits backyards where an ADA cabin won’t.

Flushing & internal-sink units

If you want hand-washing without a separate station, choose a toilet with a built-in foot-pump sink or the deluxe flushing unit. Both carry their own water, so there is nothing to hook up.

Restroom trailers

Two-stall and four-station trailers with flushing toilets, running-water sinks and air conditioning, the closest thing to an indoor bathroom in Valley heat. The site needs a garden-hose water connection and a 110-volt outlet.

Hand-washing stations

Freestanding stations where two people can wash at once with foot pumps, soap and paper towels. Put one wherever food is served, beside every toilet group on a job site, and in the field for farm crews.

Pricing

How Brownsville porta potty pricing works

Your price comes from four things: the delivery address, the unit, how long it stays, and how often it is cleaned. A one-day party, a weekend event or a few days are booked as one event package, so you don’t pay a monthly rate. Job sites and properties are billed every 28 days with weekly cleaning until you call for removal.

Before anything is booked you get a written quote with each part on its own line, so the total holds no surprises.

How many units do you need?

Plan about 1 standard unit for every 75 guests at the busiest point of an event, and add exactly 1 more for every 4 if alcohol is served. On job sites, OSHA requires 1 toilet for up to 20 workers and 1 seat plus 1 urinal per 40 above that.

Placement, permits and cleaning

Where can the toilet be placed?

  • Flat, firm ground. Concrete, asphalt, compacted gravel or level lawn. Avoid slopes, soft soil after rain and sprinkler heads.
  • Truck access. Our service truck must park close enough for the vacuum hose to reach—keep the path clear on service day.
  • Gates. A standard unit is 43.5″ wide and travels on a dolly—a 48″ gate is the practical minimum. ADA units and trailers need open driveway access.
  • Clearance. Keep units away from overhead power lines, low branches and building eaves; leave room for the door to swing open fully.
  • Locked sites. Give us the gate code or lockbox details when you book; a locked gate on service day means a missed service.
  • Wind, sun and storms. Gulf winds are strong near the coast, so place units against a wall or fence line and tell us if the spot is exposed. In summer heat, a shaded spot keeps odor down. If a tropical storm or hurricane is forecast, call us: we secure or pick up units before it arrives.

Do you need a permit in Brownsville?

Usually not on property you control, such as your own driveway, yard or job site. You may need permission when a unit sits on a public street, sidewalk or park, or at a permitted special event. Inside city limits that means the City of Brownsville; outside them, Cameron County. Gated subdivisions and HOAs may have their own rules. The renter arranges the permit; we supply the unit size and service schedule your application asks for.

How the units are cleaned

  • Before delivery: every unit is pumped, washed, sanitized and inspected before it goes out, then restocked.
  • Each service visit: waste tank vacuum-pumped, interior surfaces cleaned, deodorizing chemical recharged, toilet paper restocked—plus soap, towels and sink water on units that have them.
  • Frequency: ongoing standard rentals are commonly serviced once a week. Low-use properties can request a custom schedule (one customer chose once-monthly cleaning). We recommend weekly service in the hot months.
  • Extra visits: large events can add a mid-event service visit—it is written into the quote, not added later.
  • Waste disposal: collected waste is transported and disposed of as a permitted liquid-waste hauler.

What if something goes wrong?

Call us. A tipped or damaged unit, a missed service, an overfull tank or a request to move the unit is handled by our own crew on the next available route, and urgent sanitation problems go first.

Local know-how

What renting in Brownsville is actually like

Heat, humidity and storms

Brownsville summers bring highs in the mid-90s with heavy humidity, which builds odor quickly, so weekly service is the minimum we recommend from April through October. Gulf wind is steady near the coast; set units against a fence or wall. During hurricane season (June 1–November 30), plan with us how units will be secured or removed if a storm heads for the Valley, and keep them off low ground near resacas that flood after heavy rain.

Event season and winter visitors

Late February brings Charro Days and the Sombrero Festival, the busiest event weeks of the year, followed by spring break crowds on South Padre Island. Winter Texans fill RV parks from November to March, and fall brings weddings and quinceañeras almost every weekend. Reserve two to four weeks ahead for those dates.

FAQ

Brownsville porta potty rental questions

More answers on delivery, cleaning, billing and accessibility are on our FAQ page.

Can you deliver a porta potty to my address in Brownsville?

Yes. We deliver to every Brownsville neighborhood (ZIPs 78520, 78521 and 78526), from Southmost and Los Ebanos to the Port of Brownsville and the ranch roads off Military Highway, plus Olmito, Rancho Viejo, Los Fresnos, Port Isabel and South Padre Island. Check your ZIP:

When can my porta potty arrive?

Deliveries run 8:00 AM–6:00 PM on a driver route that we confirm when you book. For a weekend event the unit usually arrives Friday and is picked up Monday, or the next business day after a holiday. If you need it sooner, call: we check the dispatch board while you’re on the line, but we only promise a date once a driver is assigned. Night delivery isn’t guaranteed, so book the day before a fixed start time.

Which porta potty do I need?

Pick the situation closest to yours for a recommendation:

Most Brownsville parties and job sites use a standard unit; weddings and quinceañeras usually choose a deluxe flushing unit or a restroom trailer.

How will the porta potty be cleaned?

Every unit is sanitized and restocked before delivery, and ongoing rentals get a weekly service visit. Brownsville’s heat and humidity build odor quickly from April to October, so we don’t recommend stretching service beyond once a week in those months. See what a service visit includes.

How much does a porta potty rental cost in Brownsville?

Every quote is built for your address, unit, dates and service schedule. Real examples from our quotes: $249 for a standard unit for a weekend event with Friday delivery and Monday pickup; $247.20 for the first 28 days on a construction site, then $205 per 4-week period and $29 removal, with weekly cleaning. More price examples.

What happens to my rental if a hurricane or tropical storm is coming?

Call us as soon as a storm is forecast for the Valley. Before landfall we can lay units down, strap them to a fixed structure or pick them up, depending on the site. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30, so long-term job sites near the coast should plan for this when they book.

Do I need a permit to put a unit on a Brownsville street?

On your own driveway, yard or job site, usually not. A unit in the street, on a sidewalk or in a city park needs approval from the City of Brownsville first, and Cameron County handles county roads outside city limits. Arranging the permit is the renter’s job; we supply the unit size and service schedule your application asks for.

Do farm crews need toilets in the field?

Yes, once 11 or more workers do hand labor in a field on the same day. OSHA’s field-sanitation rule, 29 CFR 1928.110, requires one toilet and one hand-washing facility for each 20 workers, within a quarter-mile walk. We supply both on weekly or more frequent service for citrus, sugar cane, cotton and vegetable crews.

Can I pick up a unit from your Brownsville office?

No. 3101 E 14th St is our office, not an equipment yard. Every unit is delivered, set in place and picked up by our drivers.
